Living a healthy life of a kidney transplant patient in Bangladesh
Mohammad Ashiq Rana (age 19), a resident of Sirajganj district, was diagnosed with kidney failure 1 year ago. A kidney donated by his grandmother (age 62) was transplanted in his body by Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Islam on 8 May 2022. Later, he and his grandmother have been living a completely healthy and normal life. His transplanted kidney is in full swing. We wish them good health.
Kidney transplanted patient ( Mother ) has given birth a baby in Bangladesh
Mrs. Shiuli Akhter (KT: 393), a resident of Chandpur district, was diagnosed with kidney failure 4 years and 10 months ago. Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Islam, a kidney donated by his own brother, was transplanted in his body on 14/04/2018. Later, she has been living with her husband in a completely healthy and normal way. Four years after the kidney transplant, she became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Her transplanted kidney is fully functional (S Creatinine 132 micro mole / L) and her child is completely healthy. We wish them good health.
Kidney transplanted patient has given birth a baby in Bangladesh
8 years ago Mrs. Sumi Akter, a dweller of Chuadanga District, was affected by kidney failure disease. In 2011 Prof. Dr. Kamrul Islam transplanted a donated kidney of her mother in her body successfuly. After that she is living a healthy and normal life. Last year she had been pregnant and given birth a beautiful and healthy baby girl on 11 August 2018 in Center for Kidney Diseases and Urological Hospital. Prof. Dr. Roksana Aivy had done her operation. Mother and Baby both are fine. 10-07-2019 she and her baby comes to our hospital for regular follow up. Her transplanted kidney is fully healthy (S Creatinine 123 micro mole/L) and her baby also fine. We are wishing a very healthy life of them.
Remove kidney stone from 2 years baby in CKDU hospital
From Professor Dr. Kamrul Islam(FRCS, MS, FCPS ) and CKDU hospital Desk: 2 years baby Rupaiya came with left kidney stone(2 cm size). On 03/03/19 we removed the stone by doing small hole. We discharge on 06/03/19. Now she is well.
